Mustang & Mustard is two people — a husband and wife investing our family's own capital in companies we believe in and use. We're keeping our names quiet for now. The founders we work with know exactly who we are, and that's the only introduction that matters.

Every decision happens between the two of us, usually at the same kitchen table where we started in 2019. There is no investment committee, no mandate to deploy, and no one to answer to but each other. When you talk to us, you are talking to the whole firm.

How we got here.
Nineteen companies since 2019. Two realized exits. Investments across consumer goods, technology, real estate, and early childhood education — most of it in products we use ourselves. The standard has not changed since the first check: people first, always.
